Top 10 activities
to check out while in Kodiak

Kodiak is the 2nd largest island in the United States, yet has less than 90 miles of road to explore. Outdoor activities abound - countless hiking trails exist and there is fantastic sport fishing along the road system and saltwater fishing from local charter operations. ATV and outdoor adventure companies offer day tours to the outreaches of the Kodiak road system. There are also museums in downtown Kodiak which explore the rich cultural history found on the island. Bear Viewing and fishing top the list for most people visiting Kodiak. Check out Kodiak.org for a listing of visitors services and to find out more about our Island community.
