Hunter Transport
~Charter a Bush Hawk to your Destination~

//All panel DIVs removed!
If your plans include a hunting trip to Kodiak Island, please consider using Kingfisher for your floatplane transportation. Due to the nature of conditions on Kodiak, we have certain guidelines that we follow to ensure reliable and safe transportation to and from your destination. Trips into smaller lakes need to have pickups scheduled before October 15 due to the high possibility of lake freezeup. Also if you plan on camping, the latest scheduled pickup is November 1. Any flights after November 1 will be to Lodges or Cabins. It is a good idea to bring a satellite telephone and enough supplies to last at least 5 extra days in the field. The Alaska Department of Fish & Game in Kodiak manages the hunting regulations on Kodiak Island (GAME UNIT 8 regulations) and is the best source for information regarding questions about hunting. Please consult the current area maps provided by ADF&G and Game regulations before applying for a permit or heading into the field.

We at Kingfisher Aviation are not guides - we are transporters. You will need to do your own research for finding the right hunting spot for you and we will take you there. To help with your research, try contacting the Alaska Department of Fish & Game and speaking with one of the Wildlife Biologists. 907-486-1880. They are more than happy to help you with any questions about the hunting opportunities Kodiak offers.
